What this place is

In the heart of Kamara, an old café that stood silent for years. It was, and will be again, the village’s hearth — the place where the community meets, talks, decides. GENESTIA is bringing it back to life: not as a museum of the past, but as a living centre of the present.

The vision

Fully restored, Kafeneio Kamaras will host a working everyday café, cultural evenings, small exhibitions, open discussions, and a welcome point for visitors to the whole CorfuGEN chapter. It will be the first site to open — the beginning of the entire network.
