What GENESTIA is
GENESTIA is a network of living places that bring the countryside back to life — not through plans left in drawers, but through people, spaces and action on the ground. Each Site is a hearth: a village café finding its voice again, an olive grove, an eco-hub, an old community office. Sites connect into local Chapters — the first is CorfuGen, here in Corfu — and chapters into Clusters reaching across the Ionian, the Mediterranean and beyond. An initiative of CulturePolis, drawing on twenty years in culture and sustainable development.
GENESTIA is built around three distinct pillars, with education serving as their common denominator.
