Twenty years of culture. A new beginning for the countryside.
GENESTIA did not start from nothing. It grew out of CulturePolis — an organisation founded in 2006 in Corfu that has spent two decades building bridges of culture, sustainable development and cooperation across Greece, Europe and the Mediterranean. Marking CulturePolis’s 20th anniversary in 2026, a new initiative was born: the regeneration of rural Corfu, which quickly grew into a wider vision — a Euro-Mediterranean network of places. Today that vision has a name: GENESTIA.
